BSTS Golden Jubilee Convention

On Saturday 11th April 2026, the British Society for the Turin Shroud (BSTS) will host its Golden Jubilee Convention at the magnificent Blackburn Cathedral, marking 50 remarkable years since the Society’s foundation.

This special anniversary event is open to everyone, from long-time Shroud enthusiasts to those simply curious about one of history’s most intriguing mysteries.

All attendees—and the wider public—are warmly invited to explore Pam Moon’s acclaimed Mobile Shroud of Turin Exhibition, installed in the Cathedral’s Jesus Chapel from 23rd March to 12th April.

This free exhibition includes:

  • A full-scale replica of the Shroud
  • Life-sized photographic negatives of the Shroud
  • First-century Roman nails and replicas of a Roman flagrum, and a Roman lance
  • Detailed informational displays

This immersive exhibit provides a vivid and accessible introduction to the Shroud and its historical and scientific context.
